Richmond Times-Dispatch: Town & Country Cotillion's Halloween Dance

Over 150 local sixth-graders got dressed in their finest—Halloween costumes—for the Town & Country Cotillion's Halloween-themed dance at the Tuckahoe Woman's Club, Oct. 24.  The theme was "Ghostbusters" and the song from the "Ghostbusters" movie was among many spooky songs to which the children danced that night, with instruction provided by experienced dance instructors.  Town & Country Cotillion started in Richmond in 1961. Their website states the goal of the Cotillion program which "teaches middle school children ballroom dancing and social etiquette.  We strive to impart the values of common courtesy and good manners to our young ladies and gentlemen while at the same time providing an organized, age appropriate and fun activity."
